30

This week I turned thirty. Half of my life I have shared with Patrick. We both feel so lucky to have our two boys. They are definitely the bright spots in our lives, and help us realize how lucky we really are.

The past few weeks Logan has really grown up. He is pulling up on everything, cruising along whatever he can hold, and is eating big boy food like Tony! It looks like he is going to be every bit the eater that Tony is...the other day he was eating mushrooms and olives. He goes after everything on our plates. When I try to give him the baby food jars, he just pushes it away. Hello, mommy...I am a big boy, and I don't eat baby food...

The pictures are from my birthday. I am definitely blessed.

Kicking some flu butt!

It was Wednesday when I took these guys into the doctor's office, and they confirmed that Tony and Logan both had the flu. It was a pretty sad day. Tony kept throwing up, and had a really high fever. Logan has a double ear infection, again. While the flu test was negative for Logan, the doctor seemed pretty certain that he had it also. Evidently 30% of their tests have false negatives. Considering that they share everything, including germs, the doctor was confident that they both had it. That was Wednesday, and today is Friday. The pictures above are from today. They were both having a blast playing outside and swinging. Tony looks terrific, and Logan is doing better also. Logan isn't able to take any of the medicine that they gave Tony, since he is under 12 months, but he seems to be doing better every day. Aren't they the cutest boys you've ever seen???
